
Barbara Błaszczak

A lawyer and economist, Barbara is a PhD candidate in the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw, specializing in legal studies. After passing the tax advisor exam, she is awaiting entry onto the list of tax advisors. She graduated with honors in Finance, International Investment, and Accounting from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw and with honors in law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. She also completed the School of German and European Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and the Faculty of State and Law at the Rhenish Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn.
She has received numerous scholarships and awards related to her research (including a scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science’s “Szkoła Orłów” program for exceptionally talented students, a scholarship from the Rector of the University of Warsaw for the best students, a “Stypendium na Start” awarded by the Rector of the University of Warsaw to the best doctoral students in their first year of education, and a scholarship from the National Science Centre grant implemented at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Sciences). She is the author of several scientific publications in the field of taxes, the economics of taxation, tax law, public financial law, and the economic analysis of law, and a speaker at international scientific conferences, including those in Washington and London.
Winner of the 12th edition of the nationwide “Podatkowi Liderzy” competition organized by the Ministry of Finance, and first place winner in the 11th edition of the competition for the best master’s thesis in the field of tax law, “Podatki proste jak drut,” organized by the Masovian Branch of the National Chamber of Tax Advisers.
She has several years of experience in tax consulting, gained at renowned Polish and international tax consulting firms.
As part of his teaching activities, he conducts classes in public finance and public financial law as well as tax law, including turnover and income taxes, at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
