About the practice
We provide legal assistance in all civil, administrative and disciplinary aspects of sports law, including the protection of image and personal rights of natural and legal persons from the world of sport.
Services
- Day-to-day legal services for domestic and foreign clubs, associations, players, coaches and other sports officials, including protection of image and personal rights;
- Legal assistance in setting up sports clubs and organizations;
- Drafting and updating regulations, statutes and other internal acts for sports associations and organizations;
- Drafting contracts between clubs and players, coaches and other sports officials (m.in. transfer agreements, professional sports contracts, managerial contracts, sponsorship agreements);
- Reviewing and negotiating the above-mentioned agreements, legal advice on their conclusion;
- Preparation of legal opinions in the field of broadly understood sports law;
- Legal services in the process of changing clubs by an athlete;
- Legal services in the process of organizing mass events (including, m.in, the issue of marketing and advertising of events);
- Representation of athletes before courts, arbitration courts, jurisdictional bodies of sports associations (e.g. the Football Arbitration Court of the Polish Football Association, the Disciplinary Committee of the Polish Football Association and the Supreme Appeal Committee of the Polish Football Association);
- Legal assistance in anti-doping rule violations and disciplinary matters;
- Pursuing monetary claims for compensation due to clubs for training a player and for damages, salaries, contract and transfer amounts;
- Legal assistance in the field of intellectual property protection of sports clubs, in particular in the field of copyright and legal protection of trademarks.
