European Union law, Constitutional law & legislative advisory

About the practice

The practice of European Union law, constitutional law and legislative advice is one of the main pillars of our Law Firm. For many years, our team of experienced experts has been actively involved in drafting and reviewing legal acts, including regulatory impact assessments.

In the past, the Law Firm’s lawyers have prepared m.in. legislative opinions or expert opinions, as well as draft normative acts for the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland (Bureau of Analyses of the Sejm or the Marshal of the Sejm), the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, ministries or central offices, as well as private entities, including associations of entrepreneurs or employers, industry organisations or trade unions. The Law Firm’s partners have also acted as legislative advisors to European Union bodies, including the European Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee.

We provide legislative services at every stage of the law-making process, from the design stage, through proceeding, to the assessment of the compliance of the applicable normative act with the law. Taking care of the interests of our clients, we help them to actively participate in the legislative process, as well as monitor changes in regulations that have a direct impact on their business.
