About the practice

We advise on all issues and legal problems related to copyright, press law, advertising law, Internet law, as well as regulations governing the functioning of radio broadcasters and providers of audiovisual media services.

As part of the service offered, we advise entrepreneurs and public figures on how to protect personal rights, how to effectively and safely use personal rights in business transactions, as well as how to counteract the effects of infringement of personal rights that have already occurred.

Services

  • Preparation of legal opinions on the basis of press law and advertising law;
  • Preparing corrections and press responses and correspondence with publishers, editors-in-chief and journalists;
  • Analysis and verification of press materials in terms of their compliance with the law;
  • Pursuing claims in connection with the dissemination of press publications containing inaccurate or untrue information;
  • Representation of Clients in proceedings for the protection of personal rights, as well as in cases of defamation or insult by means of mass communication;
  • Representing the interests of victims of verbal attacks or theft of information online;
  • Assistance in negotiating the terms of settlements;
  • Advising on the protection of the image of individuals and companies;
  • Assisting journalists in accessing public information, including: drafting requests for access to public information, preparing appeals to the Local Government Board of Appeals and preparing complaints against the inaction of an administrative body to the Provincial Administrative Court in the event of refusal to issue a decision on disclosure of public information;
  • Organizing trainings in the field of protection of personal rights and press law.
