Doctor of Juridical Science, advocate with more than 10 years of experience in litigation and arbitration. He has worked for major international law firms as well as an in-house lawyer for one of the world’s largest building materials companies. He has appeared and advised clients in disputes before domestic and foreign arbitration courts, state courts of all instances, including the Supreme Court, provincial administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court. He is the author of numerous scientific and popular science publications. He appears as a speaker at scientific conferences.

Łukasz Wydra’s practice includes, among others, arbitration proceedings, complex cases before courts and administrative authorities, advisory services in the area of: investment processes, labour law, contract law, commercial law, compliance policies. Luke also has experience in competition law or personal data protection (GDPR).

His experience includes acting for commercial law companies operating in the manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, telecom, banking, public media sectors. He has also advised foundations and associations.

Advising on commercial contracts (total of over 1,000): drafting, evaluation, preparation and review of annexes, termination agreements with a total value of over PLN 1 billion;
Representation in court and arbitration disputes (in total over 100): corporate (including determination of ineffectiveness of termination of trust agreement, determination of non-existence of arbitration clause), for payment, for determination of legal relationship, for acquisitions, for enforcement of real estate and registered pledges – with a total value of over PLN 60 million;
Representation in precedent-setting cases before the Supreme Court, in which it has adopted resolutions resolving significant legal issues on 2 occasions;
Representation in administrative and administrative court proceedings (approximately 30);
Advising on corporate matters (more than 200): preparation, review, evaluation of resolutions of management boards, supervisory boards, ordinary and extraordinary shareholders’ meetings, organisation and supervision of meetings of company bodies, participation in meetings of company bodies, ongoing work directly with management boards and supervisory boards;
Conducting negotiations (more than 100), including with state entities: e.g. group purchases of coal, electricity, car fleets, Power Purchase Agreements, as well as numerous negotiations with foreign entities (in English);
Handling of employee matters (approx. 10 court proceedings, approx. 20 statements terminating employment contracts);
Compliance consultancy in the preparation of policies regarding RODO (GDPR), anti-mobbing;
Conducting trainings on e.g.: anti-bribery, down raids, antitrust, principles of criminal and civil liability of executives;
Participation in due diligence prior to the acquisition of a company.
