Zofia Owczarek appointed to the PZPN Working Group on Deregulation and Simplification in Amateur Football
We are pleased to announce that Zofia Owczarek, Consultant at Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners, has been appointed as a member of the Working Group on Deregulation and Simplification in Amateur Football by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). This appointment was formalised by Resolution No. III/41 of the PZPN Board, adopted on 26 March 2026.
Amateur football is the bedrock of Polish sport, requiring a legal framework that fosters growth rather than creating administrative hurdles. The responsibilities of the Working Group, to which Zofia Owczarek will contribute, include:
- In-depth analysis of the normative framework governing amateur football (in the context of Article 65 of the PZPN Statutes);
- Identification of unnecessary regulatory burdens and the drafting of legislative amendments;
- Development of transparent proposals to be submitted to the PZPN Board for implementation into the association’s legal order.
At Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners, we have long maintained that “less is more,” particularly regarding procedures and regulations. We are delighted that our approach to regulatory simplification and our expert’s analytical experience will have a tangible impact on reforming the statutes of Poland’s pre-eminent sports federation.
We extend our congratulations to all appointed members of the Working Group and look forward to following the progress of these efforts to ‘de-bureaucratise’ the amateur game.
