The contemporary investment process necessitates not only meticulous operational planning but, above all, rigorous environmental compliance. Dynamic legislative amendments and increasingly stringent Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) standards render the environmental consent process a pivotal, and frequently the most critical, component of any investment schedule.
On 13–14 May 2026, MMC Polska will host a workshop entitled: “Environmental Decisions in Practice – New Obligations and Consequences for Investments.”
We are pleased to announce that Wojciech Koźmiński, Attorney-at-Law, Counsel, and Head of the Real Estate & Construction practice at Jabłoński Koźmiński i Wspólnicy, will participate as an expert speaker. On the second day of the workshop, he will lead a dedicated panel: “Verification and Assessment of Environmental Hazards in Planned Investments.”
Our expert will provide a comprehensive analysis of the following areas:
- Environmental auditing of proposed projects – preparation stages and key practical insights.
- Mandatory full EIA procedures – qualification criteria and prevalent interpretative challenges.
- Biodiversity in impact assessments – new requirements arising from proposed legislative amendments and essential elements of ecological surveys.
- Drafting robust Environmental Impact Assessments – best practices and the avoidance of common procedural errors.
- Post-completion analysis – scope, objectives, and the specific triggers for statutory obligations.
- Technological innovations in the measurement, monitoring, and forecasting of environmental impacts.
