Will the minimal wage increase challenge entrepreneurs, or is it an inevitable adaptation to the rising costs of doing business and living costs?

We encourage you to read the article titled “Higher Minimum Wage Will be a Problem for Companies,” in which the Managing Partner of Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners – dr hab. Krzysztof Koźmiński, prof. UW presented his perspective on the subject. The article was published in Rzeczpospolita Magazine as a part of the Lawyers’ Panel series.

The article discusses minor changes to the minimum wage, which have caused mixed reactions. Increasing the minimum wage to 4,666 PLN certainly poses new challenges for entrepreneurs.

As emphasized by dr hab. Krzysztof Koźmiński, prof. UW – such changes are part of a broader socio-economic context in which we all live. Of course, this change causes particular difficulties for entrepreneurs, but its impact is relatively small compared to other challenges faced by those running businesses in Poland.
