Report of the Warsaw University Centre for Regulatory Impact Assessment: Regulatory Impact Assessment. Foreign and Polish experience – conclusions and postulates

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new publication authored by the Managing Partners of Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners – Michał Jabłoński, PhD and dr hab. Krzysztof Koźmiński.
This time it is the Report of the Center for Regulatory Impact Assessment of the University of Warsaw, which:
- Identifies the shortcomings of the Polish legislation and lawmaking system,
- presents an overview of foreign solutions in the area of better regulation and regulatory impact assessment,
- Formulates de lege ferenda postulates, directions of reform and ways to improve in the sphere of lawmaking in Poland.
In the course of the Center for Regulatory Impact Assessment project, the report’s co-authors, Managing Partners of Jabłoński Kozminski Law Firm, visited and established cooperation with leading foreign centers dedicated to improving the regulatory environment and predicting the costs and profits generated by changes in the law.
They visited and built relationships with, among others:
- Regulatory Scrutiny Board European Commission,
- Regulatory Policy Committee in London,
- numerous expert and government institutions in Belgium, the Netherlands and Israel, including the better regulation cell of the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.
