We are pleased to announce that in April, dr hab. Dorota Pudzianowska, prof. UW, joined the ranks of Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners. A renowned advocate (adwokat) and a distinguished representative of administrative law doctrine, Professor Pudzianowska has assumed the position of Of Counsel, significantly bolstering our capabilities in regulatory disputes and high-profile litigation.
Professor Pudzianowska’s arrival marks a significant expansion of our advisory services in the most demanding areas of public and economic law. Her litigation experience includes, but is not limited to:
- Regulated sectors: Advising on railway law (tariff disputes), pharmaceutical law, and media law.
- Real estate and construction law: Comprehensive handling of reprivatisation disputes, compensation claims (expropriation), and complex proceedings regarding planning permits (decyzje WZ) and building permits (PnB).
- Strategic litigation: 15 years of shaping legal protection standards within the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, alongside extensive practice in leading international legal structures.
Professor Pudzianowska is a scholar of recognised international standing – a recipient of scholarships from the US Embassy and the Foundation for Polish Science, and a guest lecturer at universities in Paris and Melbourne. Her authority is further underscored by her role as Vice-Chair of the EU Law Advisory Board to the Minister of Justice, as well as her advisory work in proceedings before the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU).
We are confident that Professor Pudzianowska’s expert knowledge and her extensive experience in managing complex disputes will enable us to safeguard our clients’ interests even more effectively in matters of critical importance.
