We are pleased to announce that Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners has assumed the role of Knowledge Partner for the 13th National Scientific Conference on Sports Law, which will take place on 24–25 April 2026, in Warsaw and online.

The event, organised by the ‘Ius et Sport’ Sports Law Students’ Association at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (WPiA UW), serves as a prestigious platform for dialogue between academia and legal practice. As a firm deeply rooted in the academic community and dedicated to developing our sports law practice, we are enthusiastic supporters of initiatives aimed at identifying the key challenges facing modern sport.

Our experts from the sports law practice will be among the distinguished speakers:

Wojciech Kiełbasiński, Attorney-at-law and Partner at the firm, will participate in the panel: “Transfer bans as a sanction – market protection or a breach of the level playing field?”

The panel will analyse the legal nature of the registration ban on new players. We will examine whether a transfer ban constitutes a disciplinary sanction sensu stricto or, rather, a mechanism for safeguarding the integrity of the football market.

Zofia Owczarek, Consultant at the law firm, will speak in the panel: “Safe for the consumer, risky for the athlete: where does liability for cross-regulatory products begin and end?”

The rapid growth of the market for supplements and sports-related products raises significant questions at the intersection of consumer law and stringent anti-doping regulations.

We warmly invite you to attend the conference!
