Further MMC Polska workshops with Wojciech Koźmiński coming this September: Construction Investments – How to Safeguard the Project, Contract and Budget in the New Regulatory Environment.

On 29–30 September 2026, Wojciech Koźmiński, attorney-at-law, Counsel and Head of the Real Estate & Construction Law Practice at Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners, will take part as an expert in the workshops entitled “Construction Investments – How to Safeguard the Project, Contract and Budget in the New Regulatory Environment”, organised by MMC Polska.

Wojciech Koźmiński will lead the panel “Managing Time and Cost Disputes (EOT & Claims)”.

The panel will cover:

• Extension of Time procedures – how to pursue claims effectively for an extension of the completion period under a construction contract.
• Methodology for calculating financial claims – compensation for delays, downtime and the costs arising from an extended construction period.
• Termination and withdrawal from construction contracts in practice – legal aspects, documenting the status of works and securing the construction site.
• Mandatory mediation in construction disputes from March 2026 – how to prepare an effective settlement strategy.
• Alternative dispute resolution methods – strategies for minimising litigation risk and avoiding court proceedings.

The workshops are aimed at investors, general contractors, developers and lawyers advising on investment and construction projects – in short, all those seeking to manage contractual and legal risk effectively in construction projects.
