On 26 June 2024, the Rector-elect of the University of Białystok, Professor Mariusz Popławski, PhD, awarded appointments to the Deans of Faculties for the 2024–2028 term. We are proud and delighted to announce that Dr hab. Artur Olechno, Professor at UwB, Of Counsel at Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners, and Leader of the Municipal Law Practice, has been appointed Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Białystok for the 2024-2028 term!

Professor Artur Olechno is a recognised expert and academic lecturer who has been educating future lawyers for many years. His academic achievements include over 90 publications in prestigious Polish and international outlets, as well as numerous presentations at international conferences. Since 2015, he has served as an Arbitrator at the Eastern Arbitration Court in Białystok, and in 2023, he was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Latvia.
