On 24 April 2026, Warsaw hosted the second edition of the Business Law Summit — a conference organised by the Academic Society of Company Law of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, bringing together recognised experts in commercial law with students and doctoral researchers seeking to go beyond the confines of academic textbooks.

Łukasz Wydra, PhD – Partner at Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners and Head of the Arbitration Practice – took part as a panellist in the expert panel entitled “Corporate Blackmail as a New Dimension of Intra-Company Conflicts”. Polish company law continues to evolve, yet practice consistently outpaces regulation. Intra-company disputes are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and their consequences for a company’s operations, reputation, and value can be severe. Experience from courtrooms and arbitration proceedings demonstrates that the most effective defence begins before a conflict escalates.
