Seminar of the University of Warsaw’s Regulatory Impact Assessment Center devoted to expert opinion on amendments to excise tax regulations on tobacco products and e-cigarettes
Today (21.01), the University of Warsaw Regulatory Impact Assessment Center held a seminar at the Faculty of Law and Administration (WPiA UW). The event gathered a wide range of experts—lawyers and economists—through representatives of the District Medical Chamber in Warsaw, the media, the Chancellery of the Sejm, the tobacco and vaping industry, and business organizations.
The expert opinion
The central point of the event was the presentation of the expert opinion co-authored by experts from Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners Law Firm: Managing Partner of the Firm – dr hab. Krzysztof Koźmiński, prof. UW , Of Counsel of the Firm – dr Miłosz Kłosowiak and mgr Barbara Błaszczak, who cast light on key issues related to assessing the effects of new tax regulations.
