Today, November 19, students protested before the former Collegium Humanum under the slogan “Absurd.” The protesters are demanding the issuance of documents—master’s diplomas and transcripts—which, despite having passed exams, have not yet been delivered to them. The university has not contacted them for months.
Today’s edition of Fakty TVN published a statement by the Managing Partner of Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners Law Firm – dr hab. Krzysztof Koźmiński, prof. UW , who is the legal representative for a group of several hundred people – students and graduates of the former Collegium Humanum.
Let us recall that the case of Collegium Humanum, currently known as the University of Business and Applied Sciences Varsovia, aroused great interest at the beginning of the year. The media reported on the institution’s accelerated MBA courses, which attracted the attention of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA). The former rector, Paweł Cz., faced numerous charges, including those related to falsifying documentation regarding transcripts and defenses of master’s theses.
Currently, the case is multithreaded – its scope ranges from criminal and legal issues through the students’ rights protection, to institutional responsibility.
The team of our Law Firm is working intensively to clarify the situation and ensure that our clients’ rights are protected. We encourage you to follow further information in this case – we will keep you updated on its progress and subsequent legal steps.
