We are pleased to announce that dr hab. Jan Rudnicki, prof. UW, and Of Counsel at Jabłoński Koźmiński & Partners Law Firm, has been appointed to the University of Warsaw Academic Council of the Legal Sciences Discipline for the 2025-2028 term.

The councils of academic disciplines at the University of Warsaw are collegial bodies of the university, which were established in 2019 due to the entry into force of the Law on Higher Education and Science (2018) and the new Statute of the University of Warsaw (2019). Their activities are strategically important – they supervise the development of scientific research, support the evaluation of the quality of scientific activity in individual disciplines, and award scientific degrees. There are 23 councils at the University of Warsaw, which supervise research activity in 26 disciplines.

Entrusting dr hab. Jan Rudnicki, prof. UW, with such a responsible function is an expression of recognition for his scientific achievements and commitment to developing Polish science. We sincerely congratulate him and wish him success in this prestigious mission!
