On January 30, this year, a public hearing was held in the Column Hall of the Chancellery of the Sejm regarding the citizens\u2019 draft of Amending the Animal Protection and certain other acts Act (the so-called Chain Act), in which dr \u0141ukasz Wydra <\/a>\u2013 Partner at Jab\u0142o\u0144ski Ko\u017ami\u0144ski & Partners Law Firm and Leader of the Arbitration Practice, participated, representing the National Institute for Animal Registration.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Improving animal welfare is undoubtedly a goal that should be supported. However, every regulation requires precision and consistency to prevent interpretational chaos and unintended legal consequences. \u00a0

Unfortunately, the draft act in its current form raises significant concerns. Possibly, instead of genuinely enhancing animal protection, it may become a source of ambiguity and legal disputes and could even undermine the effectiveness of existing protective mechanisms. \u00a0

Proper legislation <\/a>is crucial for effective law.
