The event, organised by the \u2018Ius et Sport\u2019<\/em> Sports Law Students\u2019 Association at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (WPiA UW), serves as a prestigious platform for dialogue between academia and legal practice. As a firm deeply rooted in the academic community and dedicated to developing our sports law practice, we are enthusiastic supporters of initiatives aimed at identifying the key challenges facing modern sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our experts from the sports law practice will be among the distinguished speakers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wojciech Kie\u0142basi\u0144ski<\/strong>, Attorney-at-law and Partner at the firm, will participate in the panel:\u00a0“Transfer bans as a sanction \u2013 market protection or a breach of the level playing field?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The panel will analyse the legal nature of the registration ban on new players. We will examine whether a transfer ban constitutes a disciplinary sanction sensu stricto<\/em> or, rather, a mechanism for safeguarding the integrity of the football market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zofia Owczarek<\/strong>, Consultant at the law firm, will speak in the panel:\u00a0“Safe for the consumer, risky for the athlete: where does liability for cross-regulatory products begin and end?”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rapid growth of the market for supplements and sports-related products raises significant questions at the intersection of consumer law and stringent anti-doping regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
