We are pleased to announce the premiere of a book by dr \u0141ukasz Wydra<\/a>, Partner of our Law Firm and Leader of the Arbitration Practice, titled \u201cCharakter prawny obowi\u0105zku wydania wyroku przez s\u0105d arbitra\u017cowy\u201d (ENG: “The Legal Nature of the Obligation to Issue an Award by an Arbitration Court: A Legal Procedural Study “), published by C. H. Beck.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is a publication of a doctoral dissertation defended in 2022 at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University <\/a>in Krak\u00f3w under the academic supervision of Prof. dr hab. S\u0142awomir Cie\u015blak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the first monograph on the Polish market dedicated entirely to the adjudicative obligation of the arbitration court. It considers national and comparative perspectives and references eight legal orders and international sources.

The publication significantly contributes to the debate regarding the arbitration court’s constitutional status, the arbitrators’ role, and their liability. It also addresses critical issues in arbitration practice, such as the scope and limits of adjudicative competence, the consequences of breaching the adjudicative obligation, and the legal remedies accessible to the parties involved.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

This is a must-read for procedural law theorists, arbitration practitioners, attorneys, arbitrators, and arbitration institutions.
